The Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
Children at St Theresa's are encouraged to demonstrate their faith and live out the Gospel values as a part of their everyday lives. They are encouraged to attend mass and learn about the Sacraments throughout their time at school.
Children in Year 4 (and above) celebrate the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. They prepare for these Sacraments through work with their parents and the parish catechists. We are very fortunate that the parish catechists are also members staff within our school so they have strong positive relationships with the children.
Children receive their first Reconciliation in a service along with their families. They then celebrate their First Holy Communion during a special Mass.
